Celebrating road safety week and rewarding followers of “road safety rule”
oad safety week is a national event aimed at raising public awareness about traffic rules and ultimately to reduce casualties due to road accidents. Millions lose their life and millions get injured in road accidents globally; mainly, due to lack of awareness about traffic rules or a behavior of flouting them. Therefore, to make people more aware of the traffic rules and to persuade them to follow rules while on road; the Road Safety Week is observed annually.

Are you sure the doors will be unlocked and that the exit access, such as a hallway, will not be blocked during a fire, explosion, or other crisis? Knowing the answers to these questions could keep you safe during an emergency.
Department conducted various type of awareness activity in plant premises
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched on 02.10.2014 across the country as a national movement, is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India. According to the Government, a clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019. The Government’s mantra is ‘Na gandagi karenge, Na karne denge.’ By inviting people to participate in the drive, the Swachhta Abhiyan has turned into a National Movement. A sense of responsibility has been evoked among the people through the Clean India Movement. With citizens are now becoming active participants in cleanliness activities across the nation, the dream of a ‘Clean India’ once seen by Mahatma Gandhi has begun to get a shape. People from different sections of the society, NGOs etc. have come forward and joined this mass movement of cleanliness.
Employees Welfare & Motivational Program
Welfare includes anything that is done for the comfort and improvement of employees and is provided over and above the wages. Welfare helps in keeping the morale and motivation of the employees high so as to retain the employees for longer duration. The welfare measures need not be in monetary terms only but in any kind/forms. Employee welfare includes monitoring of working conditions, creation of industrial harmony through infrastructure for health, industrial relations and insurance against disease, accident and unemployment for the workers and their families.
Eye checkup camp periodically in organization for all employees and workers.
We the Department of Information Technology organized a Free Eye Checkup camp at department as a part of Social Activity under Information Technology Student Association (ITSA ) Dr.Deshpande from Deshpande eye Hospital & Laser Center, Kotrud Depo, Pune., visited our department.
More than 200 Students including staffs were involved in this activity to take the advantage of free Eye Check up. Hence the activity was successful and was helpful to each and every member involved in this activity.
Health Checkup Camp.
A health checkup camp is group of people undergoing for Tests at same time & place. To create awareness about Preventive Health checkup, we organize Health camp anywhere across India. The advantage of Health camp is that we provide service at confessional rates. The objective of Health camp is create awareness about Preventive Health check up.
